Pick up the Poconos
Pocono Mountains Visitors Bureau (PMVB) is requesting volunteers to participate in Pick Up the Poconos Day on September 29. Volunteers will receive free gifts from the PMVB and will be entered to win one of many prizes, including 4 waterpark passes to Great Wolf Lodge, a $100 Gift Certificate to the Hotel Fauchere, Dinner and a Show for 2 at Woodloch Resort, Laser Tag for 4 at Blue Mountain Resort, and much more. Those interested in signing up to help the effort can Sign Up Here, on the PMVB’s website. Volunteers will have a choice of which township or borough they’d like to help clean-up, as well as a choice between at least two roads. Breakfast, water, lunch, gloves, bags, and vests will be provided to volunteers. For safety tips on picking up litter, refer to PickUpThePoconos.com.
The PMVB, Monroe 2030, Monroe County Commissioners, and the Monroe County Council of Governments are asking for your help to spread the word about Pick Up the Poconos Day.
