History

The Board of Supervisors has developed a thoughtful, well-rounded, short-term rental ordinance that properly balances the interests of the community. Previously, Short-Term Rentals were NOT a permitted use in the Township based on the Zoning Ordinance. The new ordinances provide for the Short-Term Rental use in residentially zoned areas of the Township, as well as regulating the use. On Tuesday June 28, 2022, the Board of Supervisors passed the Short-Term Rental Ordinance and subsequent Zoning Ordinance amendment. On October 3rd, 2022, the Board of Supervisors passed an amendment to the Short Term Rental Ordinance. The approved amendment can be seen on the right hand side of this page.

Get Prepared

The regulatory ordinance and draft amendment is available for review to assist in the preparation of an impending application.
