Party in the Park: Fall Fest

POCONO PINES – The fifth annual Fall Fest kicks off September 28, 2019 from 12-4:30pm in Blanche Price Park.

Haywagon riders smile for the camera as they travel through Blanche D. Price Park.

Free parking and admission make the event easy to attend, and live entertainment from “Friends of Rodger” will keep the beat rolling through the day. 40 vendors will populate the park with local crafts and services.

If it’s scrumptious food you’re craving, go no further. Van Gilder’s Jubilee, Dominic’s Pizza, Mountaintop Lodge, Saucy’s Caribbean Delights, and others will serve delicious food.

For those looking to show off culinary expertise, a chili contest and apple pie contest run in conjunction with the festival. Harmony Yoga, LLC offers a free yoga class at 1:30pm and a free POUND class at 2:30pm, both in the main lodge.

Keeping the kids entertained will be a breeze. The pumpkin patch has doubled in size again, as have the number of prizes hidden in the hay. After decorating a pumpkin, consider taking a tour of the park via free hayrides, which run throughout the day.

“This event has something for the entire family. Come for the free kid’s pumpkin patch and stay for the vendors and food,” states Julia Heilakka, Community Engagement Coordinator.

If you have any questions about the event or would like to participate in either contest, check out the township website at tobyhannatownshippa.gov/events or call 570-355-2224.
