Golden Child Learning Academy Opens in Pocono Summit

POCONO SUMMIT – Another new business has opened in Tobyhanna Township. Golden Child Learning Academy commemorated its ribbon cutting and grand opening on September 14th from 12-3pm at 109 Plaza Drive in Pocono Summit.

Owners Aldoric Pough and Vanessa Davison, as well as coworkers and children, celebrate the ribbon cutting for their new daycare.

Golden Child Learning Academy is a new daycare center that specializes in full- and part-time child care for ages 3-12. The academy is open Monday through Friday from 6am-6pm, and offers pick-up and drop-off services for surrounding schools.

“Golden Child Learning Academy is the future of child care, where we take child care seriously,” said owner Aldoric Pough.

“Our mission is to create a childcare setting for social, cognitive, and physical development. Each child will be educated by providing the learning tools to succeed in the future,” said owner Vanessa Davison.

“Small businesses are paramount to the local economy,” said Autumn Canfield, Assistant Manager for Tobyhanna Township. “We are thrilled to see them open, and wish their business every success.”
